Please! Let Your Life Speak
“Today I understand vocation -- not as a goal to be achieved but as a gift to be received. Discovering vocation does not mean scrambling toward some prize just beyond my reach but accepting the treasure of true self I already possess. Vocation does not come from a voice “out there” calling me to become something I am not. It comes from a voice “in here” calling me to be the person I was born to be, to fulfill the original selfhood given me at birth by God.
It is a strange gift, this birthright gift of self. Accepting it turns out to be even more demanding than attempting to become someone else! I have sometimes responded to that demand by ignoring the gift, hiding it, fleeing from it, or squandering it.” -- and I think I am not alone.

The Choice is Yours
There are two choices always awaiting us. Both welcoming us with open arms. One choice is to put on a mask and live a life of someone else. Sometimes we don’t even realize that’s what we're doing. That’s the easy choice. The other choice requires a lot more. It actually requires a transformation of mind -- and when I say mind, I mean your heart -- your soul. This type of transformation takes practice, intention and focus. Very few people ever reach this level. But the people who do are the ones who simply don’t compromise and have come to the realization that they were born to die empty. It just so happens that these are the same individuals who have had a profound impact in one way or another on the world. It’s not always about talent, it takes more than that. There are millions of people with talent; many of them doing absolutely nothing with what God has given them. Often times, it’s the people with talent that believe they’ve accomplished everything on their own. How foolish is that?
I’ve resolved in my heart that life is a beautiful thing. It’s precious and you have one opportunity to live it to the fullest. I encourage you to boldly “Let Your Life Speak"!
